Terms of Service
The terms on which ORIGAT provides its trust, risk and compliance platform to your organisation.
Agreement
These terms govern access to and use of the ORIGAT platform and website. Where your organisation has signed a separate order form or master agreement with ORIGAT, that agreement prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping credentials confidential, and for all activity carried out under your users' accounts. Access is granted to named users and may not be shared.
Subscriptions and fees
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the agreed term based on the plan and entity volumes in your order. Fees exclude applicable taxes. Volumes exceeding your plan may be invoiced at the agreed overage rate or require a plan change.
Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to run verification checks without a lawful basis, to process information you are not authorised to submit, to reverse engineer or benchmark the service for a competing product, to circumvent usage limits, or to interfere with the security or availability of the service.
Verification results
Verification outcomes, trust scores and suggested credit limits are decision support, not decisions. They are produced from third-party and official sources and from information submitted to the platform. You remain responsible for your onboarding, credit and compliance decisions.
Customer data
You retain all rights in the data your organisation submits. You grant ORIGAT the rights needed to host and process that data to provide the service. We process it in accordance with our privacy policy and any data processing terms in your agreement.
Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms.
Service availability and support
We aim for high availability and will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance where practical. Support channels and response targets are as stated in your plan or order form.
Intellectual property
ORIGAT and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, its software, models, documentation and branding. No rights are granted other than the limited right to use the service during your subscription.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each party's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid or payable in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Term and termination
Either party may terminate for material breach that remains uncured after written notice. On termination, access ends and data is deleted or returned in accordance with your agreement and our retention practices.
Changes and contact
